Dr Murtuza Rangwala is a Burns, Plastic, Reconstructive ,Cosmetic & Hand Surgeon with over 10 years of experience in the field of Surgery. His forte is breast surgery, congenital malformation, hand surgery, aesthetic surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty, trauma, lasers, brachial plexus injury ,burns & Diabetic Foot Surgery.

He did his graduation from Mumbai with distinction in first attempt and has been awarded the prestigious J.R.D. TATA Scholarship for 3 consecutive years. He then moved on to be trained in dermatology at the reputed Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He later on earned his Master’s in Surgery (M.S) from Nagpur in first attempt and later on worked as a General Surgeon for a year. He later on progressed into the most reputed Armed Forces Medical College in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, completed his super specialization and earned his Magister of Chirurgie (M.Ch.) in the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in first attempt. Thereafter he got commissioned as Surgeon Lieutenant and served the Indian Navy as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in INHS Asvini, which is the apex super speciality hospital of the Indian Navy. He later got promoted to Surgeon Lieutenant Commander and continued in INHS Asvini. He earned his DNB & MNAMS in the field of Plastic Surgery in first attempt while serving the Indian Navy. He did many training and educational courses in this particular field to reach the utmost pinnacle. He has authored a number of articles which are published in various reputed journals. He has various scientific publications and innovative methods of treating different conditions to his credit as well as presented a series of papers in national and international conferences.
